Problem
VScan stops bringing in files in Rulerunner, after functioning correctly for a long time.
Symptom
This is a rare issue and this resolution is only necessary if the infrequent situations should it occur.
The following error occurs in the Rulerunner log with this type of issue:
Warning: executecode; thread #[5] connection level initial exception in the main queueing [ctmmthread::throw__obj] [error: invalid object [atm] in the [rrswrapper.cpp] at [1449] [message: could not get object back after creating new job].]
Resolving The Problem
- Steps to perform:
- Need to go to the Engine database, enginfo table, and db_loc column
- Value in the db_loc column needs to be 'none'
- If value is anything else, change back to 'none', in lower case as this field is case sensitive
- Restart the Taskmaster Server services and the Rulerunner services
- VScan task in Rulerunner should now function properly as before
