Problem(Abstract)

TM1 was running and then the entire machine crashes/stops running with no warning.

Resolving the problem

TM1 by itself can't cause the machine to crash. It could only cause the TM1 processes (tm1sd.exe, tm1s.exe, etc.) to crash, though it's possible that something TM1 does could expose a bug in a driver or the operating system and cause the machine to crash. But if this were the case, it wouldn't be a TM1 bug.


Therefore, please look into possible issues with the machine/operating system before logging a PMR for this issue, as it is not likely to be a TM1 issue.

One thing to focus on would be the NIC cards, as a bad NIC has been known to cause the machine to crash.

Check the Event Viewer for possible related errors and information that may help to resolve the issue.
