    DESCRIPTION:
    Due to a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability, an attacker that is able to trick a currently authenticated IBM Cognos Command Center administrator into clicking a link or visiting a malicious website may be able to stop / start the application services.

    Due to a Session Fixation vulnerability, an attacker that is able to gain access to a victims browser and set an authorization cookie within the same scope as the IBM Cognos Command Center may be able to impersonate the victim.

Remediation/Fixes

This vulnerability has been fixed in IBM Cognos Command Center 10.2. The recommended solution is to upgrade the server(s) where the Web Client component is installed to this version. Implement the appropriate solution as soon as practicable.
