    The com.ibm.team.install.jfs.app.rdm
    The com.ibm.team.install.jfs.app.rqm

Cause

The Installation Manager Repository on Jazz.net is not available from the computer you are installing the RTC or IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) applications on.

This can happen if your server is not connected to the internet, a proxy server is blocking access to the internet, or your saved credentials are out of date.

Diagnosing the problem

Verify if the repository is available by browsing to the location using a web browser on the installation machine.
The exact repository can be found in the repository "location=" section of the install-server.xml found in the ..\CLM-Web-Installer-<OS-Version>\im\<OS> directory on both Windows and Unix

Resolving the problem

There are three possible reasons why the install may fail:

  1. The repository is available via the web client using a proxy and Installation Manager is not configured to use it.
    • Installation Manager can be configured to use a proxy under File > Preferences > Internet > HTTP Proxy.
  2. Access to Jazz.net has been blocked on the server.
In this case, it will be necessary to download the full IBM Installation Manager Repository for the version you want to install. This will need to be done on a computer that has access.
    • Go to Jazz.net Downloads and locate the product being installed.
    • The current release will be highlighted, otherwise click on the heading to find all versions.
    • Locate the version being installed and follow the link.
    • Next choose the "All Downloads" tab
    • Locate the section labeled "IBM Installation Manager Repositories"
    • Locate the application being installed from the list below that heading.
    • Click the link and follow the prompts to download it.
  3. The saved credentials are incorrect.
To clear the saved credentials open installation manager. Choose File->Preferences. Choose the Passport Advantage, Select the "Clear Credentials" button. This will clear the saved credentials for all repositories.
