Abstract

A new version of the Netcool/OMNIbus Generic Probe for TMF814 (V2.1, V3.0 and V3.5) will be available to download from July 28, 2016.

Content

This release includes the following enhancements:

  • RFE 82307: Allow the user to configure the function calls for retrieving active alarms from EMS/NMS.
  • APAR IT14347: Provide support for the following object types: Layered ParameterList, SNC State, Route, and Termination Point Data List in incoming events.
  • Support for SSL connection added.
  • Dependencies list included in package.

This release includes the following package dependencies:

  • Probe Nonnative-base (probe-nonnative-base-19)
  • Java Probe Integration Library (probe-sdk-java-9)
  • Probe CORBA Framework (probe-corba-framework-8)

A single package contains versions of the probe for all supported Operating Systems. To obtain this new package, use the Find by part number field to search for part number: CND8AEN

The probe supports the following Operating Systems: AIX, Linux, Solaris and zLinux.
