Question

How do you apply a color based stereotype to a model element (say Object) in IBM Rational Rhapsody?

Cause

You would like to apply a color (say Red) to all the Objects being created in Rational Rhapsody project

Answer

You may apply the steps below to fulfill your requirement:

  1. Create a NewTerm Stereotype (say STObj) applicable to Object

  2. Right click on it and choose Format

  3. Under the section Select Meta-class to format choose Object

  4. Click on Format selected Meta-class

  5. In the new Format Properties window select the Fill tab

  6. Select Fill Color as Red

  7. Click OK


Create a new Object and apply the Stereotype to it. Notice that it would also show in color Red as desired
