How to write more than one SQL subcommand on GET DATA type ODBC

Technote (FAQ)

Question

Inner and outer joins and limit retirieved cases on ODBC connection are possible but we would like to have the possibility to have more than one SQL subcommand and the possibility to have several select statements on one GET DATA command for several successive orders.

Is it possible to write more than one SQL subcommand on GET DATA type ODBC?

Answer

This is currently not possible.

An Enhancement Request (Reference ID:ECM00197959) has been submitted to development to consider if this feature can be implemented in a future release.

Currently, when you want to import multiple fields from different tables you need a key variable for connection and you need to define the join on ODBC connection dialog but you cannot have multiple /SQL subcommands on one GET DATA command.
