Abstract
A DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows problem can cause data loss in Q replication when the LOAD utility is used to load target tables with data from the source. No error is logged by either replication or DB2.
Content
In DB2 Versions 9.8 Fix Pack 3 and newer, the problem can occur if one of the following LOAD options are used:
- Remote fetch (a load from a cursor where the cursor is declared using the DATABASE keyword)
- SOURCEUSEREXIT
For replication, the problem can occur in Version 9.7 Fix Pack 4 and newer.
To resolve the problem, you can apply any of the following DB2 APARs, depending on your version:
- V97 N/A
- V98FP6 APAR IC95124
- V10.1 APAR IC95010
- V10.5 APAR IC95146
