Abstract

IBM QuickFile uses IBM Java SDK. QuickFile is affected by a vulnerability that exists in the IBM Java SDK version shipped with QuickFile.

IBM QuickFile is shipped with an IBM Java SDK which is based on the Oracle SDK. Oracle has released a critical patch update (CPU) which contains security vulnerability fixes for the version of Java SDK shipped by QuickFile. QuickFile is impacted by one of the denial of service vulnerabilities. IBM is making a fix available which includes an updated version of IBM Java SDK meant to address this issue.
