CTGIN9007E: Unsupported operating system. Minimum OS versions supported by MWI are : Windows Server 2003 SP2, Windows Server 2003 , Windows Server 2008 SP1, Windows Server 2008 R2, RHEL 4 Update6, RHEL 5 Update2, RHEL 6, SLES 9 SP4, SLES 10 SP2, SLES 11, AIX V5.3 TL 09 SP2, AIX V6.1 TL 02, AIX V6.1 TL 04 SP2 on Power 7. Please check the current documentation for the supported operating systems for further reference
Resolving the problem
Please find below the workaround for the problem :
1. Invoke the middleware installer with the below command line arguments (case sensitive):
mwi-AMD64.exe -V dependencyChecks=false -V inventoryRanFlag=true -V diskSpaceCheckFlag=false
These arguments will allow the installer bypass the checks executed using the deployment engine (namely system requirements check, inventory check, and disk space check).
2. Also, once the deployment plan is generated, (i.e. at the pre-install summary panel) before the user clicks on 'Deploy', update the XML file (shown below) at the workspace location:
Update the value of the below two properties to "true" :

<property value="true" name="suppress.step_00002_DiskSpace_Check"/>
3. Save the file and then click on "Deploy" to proceed with the install.
