Invalid Binding on Integration Data Import screen after applying SCCD 7.5

Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)

The PLUSPSERVADDR table has been deprecated in 7.5 and replaced with the SERVICEADDRESS table.

Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) references to the old table may cause Invalid Binding errors.

Cause

The Integration Data Dictionary is not synchronized with the Maximo TPAE Data Dictionary.

Resolving the problem

All Object Structures, Publish Channels, Invocation Channels and Enterprise Services which reference the PLUSPSERVADDR object should be removed before upgrading.

If the references were not removed before upgrading, the Integration Data Dictionary may be corrupt. The Integration objects must be cleaned up from the backend. The following SQL can be used to determine if there is any corruption:

select * from maxifacein where intobjectname not in (select intobjectname from maxintobject)

select * from maxifaceout where intobjectname not in (select intobjectname from maxintobject)

If any records are returned, you can delete them with the following:

delete from maxifacein where intobjectname not in (select intobjectname from maxintobject);

delete from maxextifacein where ifacename not in (select ifacename from maxifacein);

delete from maxifaceout where intobjectname not in (select intobjectname from maxintobject);

delete from maxextifaceout where ifacename not in (select ifacename from maxifaceout);
