Maximo Asset Management documentation does not display in an upgraded information center

You upgrade to Maximo Asset Management, but the documentation for the fix pack is not displaying in the information center.


As a result of a server side cache issue with IBM WebSphere and Oracle WebLogic, the documentation is not refreshed in the information center. This issue can also occur for the documentation.

Diagnosing the problem

If you upgrade to Maximo Asset Management, but the What's New documentation references Maximo Asset Management, the documentation has not been refreshed due to a cache issue.

In the Maximo Asset Management information center, click:

Maximo Asset Management > Product overview> What's new in IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.5> New in Maximo Asset Management

If the What's New document references Maximo Asset Management, you need to clear the cache for the application server.

Resolving the problem

1. Stop the MXServer

2. Clear the cache for the relevant application server:

> For Oracle WebLogic, follow the instructions at

3. Restart the MXServer

This should refresh the documentation plug-ins and the Maximo Asset Management documentation should display in the information center.
