Problem
Attempting to use perspectives result in error
Symptom
This may manifest with one or the other of the following errors.
Run-time error '53':File not found: tm1xl.ocx
Run-time error '53':File not found: tm1prc.dll
tm1xl.ocx File Not Found
Cause
1. Files dll/ocx not register as a result of windows updates
2. Third party add-in
3. Client is using 64bit tm1p.xla rather than 32bit tm1p.xla.
Resolving The Problem
1. Registering tm1xl.ocx and tm1prc.dll within the bin folder.
Run command prompt as administrator
Regsvr32.exe /u <directorypath to>\tm1prc.dll tm1xl.ocx
Regsvr32.exe <directorypath to>\tm1prc.dll tm1xl.ocx
2. Remove third party add-in from Excel
