Answer

The steps an OpenPages administrator should follow to change a single enumerated string field to a multi-valued (or multi-enumerated) string field are:

  1. Open a supported browser.
  2. Go to the OpenPages URL.
  3. Login with an administrator id.
  4. Enable System Admin Mode (SAM).
  5. Using the navigation menubar, go to: Administration -> Field Groups.
  6. Click on the field group that contains the field.
  7. Click on the single enumerated field.
  8. Click on the 'Edit...' button in the 'Field Definition Information' section.
  9. Select the 'Multi-valued' checkbox.
  10. Click on the 'Save' button.
  11. Once the change has been made, disable SAM.
