Question
When an OpenPages administrator is attempting to run an OPBackup, the utility is failing with oracle errors stating: "ORA-01555: snapshot too old: rollback segment number 8 with name '_SYSSMU8$' too small
Cause
The OPBackup utility is failing with errors such as:

Answer
The Oracle DBA needs to review the database instance to determine why the oracle errors are being generated. Once the DBA has made the appropriate changes, the OpenPages administrator should then try to launch the OPBackup utility again.
