Troubleshooting
Problem
Node Replication completes with completion code of failure near the end of the whole job despite nodes being processed.
Symptom
Errors similar to the following will be logged in the server instance activity log :
ANR0984I Process xx for Replicate Node started in the BACKGROUND at <timestamp>.
ANR0332E Replication mode Send of node {NODENAME} is incompatible with mode None on server {TSMSERVER}.
ANR0986I Process xx for Replicate Node running in the BACKGROUND processed nnn items for a total of nnn bytes with a completion state of FAILURE at <timestamp>.
ANR1893E Process xx for Replicate Node completed with a completion state of FAILURE.
The Replicate Node command will continue to process remaining Nodes but at the end of the process, the process will be returned as a failure.
Resolving The Problem
Use the UPDATE NODE command to put the node in the proper state on both the source and target servers or remove it from the replication process.
