Git Adapter: Links are not available in Gitweb or the web interface for Gerrit when the server for an associated Rational project is not available

Technote (troubleshooting)

For Git projects associated with more than one RTC server, all servers must be available for linking on any server to work. If one or more server is unavailable, links created with the Rational Adapter for Git do not work. This affects Gitweb and Gerrit web.

When you create a link, the system returns a message that says "Loading..." until an error message similar to the following appears:

CRIGT0424E The connection to the <RTC_project_name> Rational Team Concert project area is not available. The server might be down, or the connection might not be configured properly. The Git adapter administrator can check for further details in the server/logs/gitAdapter.log file.

Resolving the problem

This is a known issue. Ensure that all RTC servers for project areas associated with a Git project are running.
