If you are searching for IBM Integration Bus information in the IBM Support Portal it is located on the WebSphere Message Broker pages.
In April 2013 IBM announced IBM Integration Bus V9.0 which had previously been known as IBM WebSphere Message Broker, Because IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and WebSphere Message Broker (WMB) are actually different versions of the same product, much of the information is shared between the two versions. Since there was already an existing IBM Support Page for WebSphere Message Broker which had been in use for a number of years, that page has remained and will provide information for all versions of WMB and IIB.
If you are on the IBM Support pages and you are using the Product Quick Find box (on the left side of the page) to search for "IBM Integration Bus" or just "Integration Bus", it will return an entry for WebSphere Message Broker but you will not see an entry with the name "IBM Integration Bus".
Here is an example showing the results when searching for Integration Bus
1. Enter Integration Bus in the product quick find search box:
2. Results will return WebSphere Message Broker but no entry named IBM Integration Bus
Many of the technotes, alerts, news items, publications and APARs that apply in WMB will apply the same in IIB.
The preexisting WMB documents that were composed prior to IIB V9 being released may not specifically reference IIB V9. We are in the process of reviewing and updating the documents to include an alternate reference to IIB V9 to make it more clear that it is applicable. Those documents will include a cross reference near the bottom of the page similar to this:
If we create a new document for IIB and it is also relevant to WMB, there will be similar cross reference information for WMB at the bottom of those documents.
If you find a document that does not have a cross reference included in it and you are not sure if it is relevant to either WMB or IIB you can submit feedback on the document which will prompt us to review and update the document. To submit feedback simply add comments on the right side or at the bottom of the page. This process may take some time, so if you need to know more promptly, then you can open a problem record to ask if it is applicable to your environment.
