Problem
AFDK abend was added in CICS version V4.1. The Gentran transaction definitions specified ISOLATE=YES. Current CICS regions setup to run with SIT parameter TRANISO=YES.
Symptom
Some CICS panels in Gentran:Basic are not working and result in AFDK abend.
Cause
Upgraded to CICS/TS V4.2
Environment
To circumvent this issue, we changed the EDI transaction definition to ISOLATE=NO.
Resolving The Problem
Option 1: Change the EDI transaction definition to ISOLATE=NO.
Option 2: Ensure Gentran's concurrency function is enabled and assign Files to LSRpools. Supplied JCL examples do indicate assignment to LSRpool, but could have been ignored in past versions.
