How do you use "oslc_cm.query" to get filtered resutlset on the fly in IBM Rational ClearQuest Web?

Cause

This is required to get filtered resutlset on the fly and to be able to modify filters on the fly while using IBM Rational ClearQuest Web Client.

Answer

Procedure:

Open a Web Browser and type the following URL:

http:///cqweb/oslc/repo//db//record/?oslc_cm.query=State="Submitted"&rcm.type= When you press Enter Key, it will ask you the ClearQuest Login credentials, please provide the same.

To list all defects which are in Submitted state, use the following URL:

Example:
---------------
http://LocalHost/cqweb/oslc/repo/Connection1/db/SAMPL/record/?oslc_cm.q…"Submitted"&rcm.type=Defects

This URL will return all the Defects which are in "Submitted" State.
To list all defects which are in Submitted state and where Severity is High, use the following URL:

Example:
---------------
http://LocalHost/cqweb/oslc/repo/Connection1/db/SAMPL/record/?oslc_cm.q…"Submitted" and Severity="High"&rcm.type=Defects

Note: OSLCLinks package should have been applied to the ClearQuest Schema and to the Record Type for which you want to use "oslc_cm.query". Review the Information Center topic Procedure for applying the OSLCLinks package for more details.
