Which browsers are supported to obtain the license key or downloads from the Flexera License Key and Download Center?

Starting in September, support for older Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari browsers will be
dropped. As of September 19, 2013, the Flexera License Key and Download Center will support:

• Internet Explorer 11
• Firefox 45 and higher
• Firefox ESR 38.7 and higher
• Chrome latest version
• Safari 9

With the September 2013 release, users attempting to log in using an older version of these browsers
will be denied access to Flexera License Key and Download Center until their browser is updated.

If you see the following notification, please update your browser to a supported version and try again.




If you receive the warning that your Internet Explorer is out of date although it is not, you have two options to resolve the warning.
  1. Disable Compatibility View for all sites in Internet Explorer:
  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Under the Tools Menu click on Compatibility View menu item to disable it.

  • 1. Disable Compatibility View for the Flexera License Key and Download Center (LKC) in Internet Explorer:
  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Under the Tools Menu choose Compatibility View Settings
  • Add the Flexera URL (http:/ibmss.flexnetoperations.com) and click close.
Since September 2015, Google Chrome has dropped support for the NPAPI which is required by Java plugins.
Internet Explorer dropped support for NPAPI after version 5 SP2 which is now not supported anymore. Other browsers still support the NPAPI but are deprecating it as well.
