Itcam connection to Net weaver causing HIGH CPU usage

Technote (FAQ)

Question

one reason for why an Itcam connection to Net weaver could be causing HIGH CPU usage

Cause

net weaver requires a jmx connection. It is defined in the dc.properties file. The password used to generate the JMX connection that is used to connect to the net weaver server will need to be encrypted

using the amcrypto.sh script . And if this password expires, the new password will also need to be encrypted using the amcrypto.sh script
.
JMX_HOSTNAME=myhostname
JMX_PORT=7001
JMX_PROTOCOL=t3
JMX_ADMIN_HOSTNAME=myhostname
JMX_ADMIN_PORT=7001
JMX_ADMIN_PROTOCOL=t3
JMX_USERNAME=weblogic
JMX_PASSWORD=69-158-116-47-251-230-205-41-99-115-214-52-131-232-215-168

Answer

The new jmx connection password will need to be encrypted using the

amcrypto.sh script. It should be in the DC_HOME/itcamdc/bin directory
and the JVM will need to be restarted to reflect the new password on the connection.
Note: the same goes for itcam connecting to a weblogic server
