AMN0138E error running APM scripts like reg_swd_plugin.sh

Problem(Abstract)

Registering plugins for Activity Planner after applying fixpack fails with message that it does not exist.
Following the readme that states each plugin-script should be run with the -r option.

Symptom

bash-3.2# sh reg_swd_plugin.sh -r

Updating plug-in for Software Distribution...
AMN0138E The specified plug-in does not exist.
bash-3.2# sh reg_inv_plugin.sh -r
Upgrading APM plug-in for Inventory
AMN0138E The specified plug-in does not exist.
bash-3.2# sh reg_tl_plugin.sh -r
Updating plug-in for TaskLibrary...
AMN0138E The specified plug-in does not exist.



Resolving the problem

Followed information in Readme file (in this case 4.3.1-TIV-TCM-FP0005.README)

section: 2.2.8 Upgrading plug-ins states to run the scripts like:
sh reg_swd_plugin.sh -r
Upgrades the Activity Planner for Software Distribution.

sh reg_inv_plugin.sh -r
Upgrades the Activity Planner for Inventory.

sh reg_tl_plugin.sh -
Upgrades the Activity Planner for the Task Library.

sh reg_TPMforOSDeployment_plugin.sh -r
Upgrades the Activity Planner for Tivoli Provisioning Manager
for Operating System Deployment integration, if you
installed it.

If you received the error:
AMN0138E The specified plug-in does not exist.
It indicates that the plugin was not previously installed or registered.
To resolve, just run the script with the -r option and it will be
installed.
