After upgrading the Notes Traveler server to 8.5.3 Upgrade Pack 2 Interim Fix 3, some customers have reported that some users have stopped receiving updates on their mobile devices. The problem is intermittent in that most users do continue to receive regular updates; however, some have not. Affected users are still able to send mail from the device but they are not able to receive new mail, calendar and contacts. Restarting the Notes Traveler server provides only temporary relief.
This issue has been fixed in APAR LO76128, which is included in Interim Fix 4 for Notes Traveler 8.5.3 Upgrade Pack 2 and later releases.
If running Notes Traveler 8.5.3 UP2 IF3 it is highly recommended that you upgrade to Notes Traveler 8.5.3 UP2 IF4 (or a later release) as soon as possible.
If not running Notes Traveler 8.5.3 UP2 IF3, then no action is required at this time.
How to determine if you are running 8.5.3 UP2 IF3:
To confirm the current Traveler version, run the following command on the Domino console:
tell traveler version
If running 8.5.3 UP2 IF3, the output will match this value:
