Integration version says "0.0.0" when click "Help - System Info"

Problem(Abstract)

User clicks "Help - System Info". Integration version shows 0.0.0.

Symptom


Integration Version: 0.0.0

Cause

Behaviour by design.


If using the 'web' client, then the integration components (integration.zip) will only download/install 'on demand' (when a JAVA-based function is run).

  • Therefore, if the user has not (yet) run any JAVA-based feature, then the integration version will display 0.0.0 (zero).

Environment

Only affects end users who have the 'web' client (ControllerClient.MSI) installed on their client device.

  • Does not affect users who have chosen to install the full 'local' client (CCRLocalClient.MSI).

Resolving the problem

Behaviour by design.

  • If the user runs any Java-based function (for example "Maintain - Jobs Define") then the integration components will download, and the 'integration version' will be populated next time.
