"Add document to the document library for others to use?" is not showing

Problem(Abstract)

The option "Add document to the document library for others to use?" in the linked documents dialog only shows when the user has access to ALL SITES in the Security Groups.

Resolving the problem

Go to the Application Designer app, click Select Action -> Export System XML -> click

the blue arrow to export the LIBRARY.XML file.
Do a backup of the current XML and do the following change:

Search for the following row and change

From:

<checkbox id="addnewattachments_file_2_row3_col1_1_1" label="Add document to the document library for others to use" dataattribute="show" sigoption="MANAGELIB"/>

Change To:

<checkbox id="addnewattachments_file_2_row3_col1_1_1" label="Add document to the document library for others to use" dataattribute="show" sigoption="MANAGELIB" sigoptiondatasrc="MAINRECORD"/>

Save and Re-import the library.xml file.

You will need to restart the application server, so the fix will take effect.
