Problem
Attempts to close the IBM Rational DOORS client 9.5 results in the error "Failed to load the JNI shared library "C:\Program File (x86) \IBM\Rational\DOORS\9.5\ibm_jre60\bin\j9vm\jvm.dll".
Cause
You are missing a Microsoft dynamic linked library file MSVCR71.dll.
This is a Microsoft C runtime Library file that exists in the windows system directory (c:\window\System32 or c:\window\SysWOW64).
The DLL generally can go missing because of registry problem, a virus or malware issue or even a hardware failure.

Resolving The Problem
Please ensure the MSVCR71.dll exist in the System32 or the SysWOW64 directory, to resolve the issue.
