RedHat's selinux in RHEL 5 and 6

Technote (FAQ)

Question

Is selinux supported for use on nodes running TSAMP/RSCT?

Answer

No, TSAMP and RSCT are not supported running on RHEL with selinux enabled.

To disable selinux on your systems you should read from Redhat's support library on how to perform that procedure.

Here is a possible solution:

Edit the file /etc/selinux/config

Change the following line:

SELINUX=enforcing

To:

SELINUX=disabled

This requires a reboot to have it take effect. Please consult with your System Administrator before taking these steps.
