Cannot tell if Embedded WebSphere and Apache/Derby is running after SA IOM installation

Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)

After installing SA IOM V2.1.1 I cannot tell if Embedded WebSphere (eWas) and Derby are running after installing SA IOM.

Resolving the problem

Both eWas and Derby are started automatically as Windows services when the server is booted up.

As of SA IOM 2.1.1 FP0002 we have added a new tab on the "Service Manager" called "Alert Escalation" that can be used to confirm Derby/Apache is running.

Being a Java process eWas does not show up in the task list. Checking the eWas server log is the best way of confirming it is running ( C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\SA IOM\ewas\profiles\AppSrv01\logs\server1\startServer.log ).
One of the last entries would say something like:

[6/20/13 7:44:52:946 PDT] 0000000a AdminTool A ADMU3000I: Server server1 open for e-business; process id is 4264
