Validation fails with a disabled constraint
When you try to validate a model in IBM Rational Software Architect (RSA), you receive the error message: "The constraint <ProfilName>::<StereotypeName>::<ConstraintName> is disabled. It will not be evaluated".
This error happens if one of your UML elements has a stereotype applied to it that comes from a profile which is referred to by the model but incorrectly applied to it. The exact reason why such a situation would happen is unknown.
Resolving the problem
- Remove all the stereotypes that refer to the corrupted profile
- Remove the profile
- Add the profile again from the list of profiles that RSA offers
- Recreate the stereotypes
