How do you find the validity of the certification for the Search Java applet in IBM Rational Method Composer (RMC)?

Cause

The certificate associated with the Site Search Java applet has expired.

Answer

You can find the validity of the certification for the Search Java applet following these steps.


  1. Open Control Panel.

  2. Click the Java icon. Then the Java Control Panel window opens..

  3. Click the Security tab.

  4. Click Certificates button.

    Locate a row In the User Tab with the IBM value in the Issued To column that represents the IBM Certificate.

  5. Double click the IBM entry. Then the Details - certificate window opens.


In the Details - certificate window, you see a column Field. In this column, you see a row Validity, where you can read the certificate's expiration date.
