June 2013 PTF for COBOL for AIX 4.1.1
Cumulative fix package for COBOL for AIX, V4.1.1
The following APARs were fixed in this PTF *:
Source conversion utility (scu) update
This PTF also includes an update to the source conversion utility (scu).
The source conversion utility, scu, is a stand-alone AIX program that assists in the conversion of COBOL source programs from non-IBM or free-format source formats to a format that can be compiled by COBOL for AIX.
The previous version of scu performed transformations only on the input source. The new version, included with this PTF, has a secondary conversion phase that performs additional syntax and semantic conversions.
If you are familiar with the previous version of scu and would like to use only that function, you can specify the -N option. This ensures that only the initial transformations are performed.
For more details on usage and restrictions, see the scu documentation attached (scu_4119.pdf):
* Some APARS may have been fixed in another release of this product. In such cases, fixes have been ported to this release and APAR descriptions have been copied from the original APARs.
