The Endpoints tab of the DataPower Blueprint Pattern Console might not show certain endpoints

Technote (FAQ)

Question

Why does the Endpoints tab of the Blueprint Pattern Console not show all endpoints that are configured in the domain?

Answer

In the following scenarios, a handler for a Web Service Proxy is not listed on the Endpoints tab of the Blueprint Pattern Console:

  • The handler is configured with a subscription, and the WSDL status is not OK. Potential reasons include, but is not limited to, failure to connect to the WebSphere Service Registry and Repository server or an invalid object name or namespace.
  • The handler is configured with a subscription, the WSDL status is OK, but the subscription has consumed no WSDL files. See the status provider for the relevant subscription to view the number of WSDL files that are consumed.
  • The handler is configured with a subscription, the WSDL status is OK, the subscription has consumed a WSDL, but the WSDL file has no valid endpoints that are configured.

In these scenarios, the handler is not registered on the Web Service Proxy as a handler that can accept traffic. Therefore, the endpoint information about the handler cannot be on the Endpoints tab. After you correct the configuration so that the handler can accept traffic for the service, the endpoint is listed on the Endpoints tab.
