HTTP 404 Bad request when exporting parameterized queries
Attempts to export queries that contain parameterized values results in HTTP 404 Bad Request error when using IBM Rational Team Concert.
- In 4.0.2 Eclipse IDE, using the context menu, after selecting Finish in the Export Work Item window, the IDE gets disconnected.
- In 4.0.3, also from the context menu, the Export Work Item window stays in an infinite loop.
- Using the application File menu for exporting, it returns error

- Choosing any of the steps above will generated the following entry in the Eclipse log.

Rational Team Concert does not offer support for parameterized query export in the Eclipse ID. Currently, Enhancement 238262 is tracking the progress of this feature.
To resolve the crash behaviour, this has been identified as a defect under APAR PM90277, which can be tracked in Defect 265980.
Resolving the problem
Starting at version 4.0.4 M1 the option to export parametized queries will no longer be available.
As a workaround, instead of exporting the query, select "Download as Spreadsheet” in the Web UI.
The Jazz based products have an active community that can provide you with additional resources. Browse and contribute to the User forums, contribute to the Team Blog and review the Team wiki.
