Problem(Abstract)

It takes a long time for the InfoSphere BigInsights Console to update the HBase status after you stop HBase successfully on the Console.

Symptom

1. You stop HBase from the InfoSphere BigInsights Console.

2. The Console reports that the operation is successful.

3. The HBase status is not updated in the Console for some time.



Resolving the problem

If you do not want to wait for the InfoSphere BigInsights Console to update the HBase status, you can check the status of HBase on the Console node by running an InfoSphere BigInsights status.sh command.

Run the following command on the Console node as the BigInsights Administrator user:

status.sh hbase
