Question

Why is the order of data sets not changed in a filter in the Remote System Explorer (RSE) after reordering the data sets in the properties of the filter when using IBM Rational Developer for System z (RD/z)?

Cause

The data sets are always shown in an alphabetical order in RSE view.

You cannot change the order of data sets in the RSE view. The order of data sets in the RSE view is done alphabetically, independent of the order provided in a filter for those data sets
