Problem

How to allow TNEF (winmail.dat) files pass through the LPMS Server

Symptom

LPMS is blocking winmail.dat files.


Cause

LPMS thinks it is a virus

Environment

LPMS 2.8 and 2.9

Diagnosing the problem

You see the files in the Quarantine store

Resolving the problem

Click on these tabs
- Policy objects
- Analysis modules
- We opened executable files
- Then we took the check mark out of this option:
- Tnef Microsoft Outlook Transport Neutral Encapsulation format (dat, tnef)
