Sometimes one of our users will get into an activity in Interviewer Server Administration that appears to hang. This can leave files locked or consume a lot of memory on the server.
Is there a way we can force the activity to shut down?
This is not currently possible. An enhancement request has been submitted to add this feature.
For now, the only options are to restart the SPSSDimensionNetPool application pool in IIS, or reset IIS entirely. Restarting the server will also work. Many issues like this can be simply allowed to work themselves out just by waiting, however.
