Adding users or modifying Workitems fails with "CRJAZ1184W Authentication attempt from archived user: ccm_user" error
Attempts to add users or modify a WorkItem in IBM Rational Team Concert results in the error "CRJAZ1184W Authentication attempt from archived user: ccm_user".
Modifying a WI or add newer users or Importing users fails and the error is seen or is logged in the JTS/CCM logs
The default Admin user ccm_user has been archived.
The Functional User ID cannot be archived as it is continually used to synchronize user information between the Jazz Team Server and the Registered Applications.
Resolving the problem
To allow the Change and Configuration Management Application to synchronize with the Jazz Team Server, un-archive the Functional User ID.
To un-archive the User, apply the following steps:
- Navigate to the User Administration Section of the Jazz Team Server Administration web UI
- Click Archived Users
- Highlight the user you wish to un-archive
Note: If you are unsure which user id was used to register the Change and Configuration Management Application, navigate to Consumer (Inbound) and view the configuration.
- Click Actions > Restore User
This will un-archive the user.
