Troubleshooting
Problem
Attempts to install IBM Rational License Key Server (RLKS) 8.1.3 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x (RHEL) 64 bit results in the install link being unresponsive.
Cause
RHEL 6.x 64 bit does not contain the following RPM packages:
- <libXtst-1.0.99.2-3.el6.i686.rpm>
- <gtk2-2.18.9-4.el6.i686.rpm>
Resolving The Problem
Procedure:
Use the following commands to manually install the RPM’s on RHEL machine:
- #yum install libXtst.i686
- #yum install gtk2.i686
Note: The RPMs have dependencies while installing RLKS on RHEL 6.x 64 bit machines.
