Test script generator atostart fails with message "catastrophic error #5"

Problem

Attempts de generate C++ test script generator of IBM Rational test RealTime result in catastrophic error #5.

Symptom

You see the following error.

Generation failed.

Cause

Two lines in the Target Deployment Port (TDP) cause this error to the attolstart analyzer.

Resolving The Problem

Remove these two lines. Here are the instructions.

  1. Open your xdp file with the TDP editor


  2. Remove the following lines in Parser Settings > Analyser file configuration.


    #for 64 bits
    #--targ_size_t_int_kind 10








  3. Make a Save & Generate
