This technote provides a workaround to address an error, "DPR-ERR-2002 Unable to execute the request", that uccurs when running IBM Rational Reporting for Development Intelligence (RRDI) setup.
Full error message reported during RRDI setup:
DPR-ERR-2002 Unable to execute the request because there were no connections to the process available within the configured time limit.
DB2 64-bit Client, version 10.1 was installed on the client machines.
Jazz Team Server v4.0.1 on Linux RedHat 6.2, and RRDI v2.0.1 on IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) v18.104.22.168. DB2 database server v9.7 running on Linux RedHat 6.2.

Resolving the problem
DB2 32-bit Client, version 9.7 needs to be installed on the client machines.
Then reinstall RRDI and recreate RationalReporting profile to resolve this issue.
