Unable to see the Performance Modeler icon in TM1 Applications

Admin user logs into TM1 Applications and cannot see the Performance Modeler (PM) icon to launch it.

Resolving the problem

First of all confirm that it is an admin user who cannot see the icon, as PM can only be seen/used by admin users.

Make sure that the TM1 installation was done by right-clicking the issetup.exe and choosing "Run as Administrator".

Also confirm that PM was selected to be installed on the Component Selection screen of the installation process. It is NOT selected by default, so if it is desired it must be manually selected.

If more than one TM1 instance is being used in TM1 Applications, then confirm that the user is an admin on all instances.
