Rational Developer for System z failed to launch with TPFC7005I error message
This technote explains how to resolve an issue that can occur when users have network locations defined while trying to launch IBM Rational Developer for System z (RDz).
Users receive the following error trying to launch RDz when Eclipse can not resolve a \\xxxxx\xxxx.... network location:
TPFC7005I The folder "\\xxx\xxx\ Mainframe\workspace\services/project' referenced by the environment variable 'TPFPROJ' does not exist. Ensure the environment variable is set, and the location can be accessed. Restart once problems have been resolved.
Resolving the problem
Follow these steps to correct the problem
- Disconnect the \\xxxx\xxxx network location.
- Define a network drive letter.
