IBM Worklight Server installation is blocked with DB2 Errors
The IBM Worklight Server installer attempts to ensure that specific databases exist. If the database is present, but access to the database produces an error, the Worklight Server installer blocks the "Next" button. This scenario prevents the user from moving forward to complete the installation.
An error message that is similar to the following text is displayed in IBM Installation Manager:
Cannot access database: WRKLGHT.
Details: com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.io: [jcc][t4][4.7.85] The application server rejected establishment of the connection.
An attempt was made to access a database, WRKLGHT, which was either not found or does not support transactions. ERRORCODE=-4499, SQLSTATE-08004
Resolving the problem
Newer fix packs of the DB2 JDBC driver might solve the issue. These fix pack drivers are available from the DB2 JDBC Driver Versions document.
