Question

When attempting to delete a job within SPSS Deployment Manager the above message is returned. Deleting old Labels/Versions up to current and removing job steps from within the job does not resolve the problem. Where can DynamicSections be altered in order to staisfy the error message request?

Answer

Add additional parameters to SPSSDataSource jdbc driver connection URL. For example, this can be found in the Web Sphere admin console under

JDBC->Data sources->SPSSDdataSource->Custom Porperties JDBC providers > SPSSDataDirect > Data sources > SPSSDataSource > Custom Properties

Add the following parameters to the JDBC URL DynamicSections=400;CreateDefaultPackage=TRUE;ReplacePackage=TRUE on the URL.
E.G. :
spss:jdbc:spssoem:db2://<server.name>:<port_number>;DatabaseName=<someDB>;DynamicSections=400;CreateDefaultPackage=TRUE;ReplacePackage=TRUE
