Publishing RIT results into a file

Technote (FAQ)

Question

Can you publish IBM Rational Integration Tester (RIT) execution results into a file?

Cause

RIT shows the test execution results into a console and you want to save them into a file.

Answer

No, currently you cannot save test execution results into a file because the reporting tasks, while being tag aware in terms of the directories that are used, need the tags to come from the environment definition which can't be over-ridden from commandline.

Future release v8.5 is planned to allow this feature with a JUnit report provider to be attached to all suites and have the output written to a user specified directory.
