How do you maintain direction of assembly in AUTOSAR using JAVA API in IBM Rational Rhapsody?


You would like to use Java Application Programming Interfaces (API) code to automate the manual task of maintaining the direction of assembly in AUTOSAR within Rational Rhapsody in C.


In order to maintain the direction of assembly in AUTOSAR in Rational Rhapsody in C, you can use the attached API by following the steps below:

  1. Extract the attached archive to the Profiles folder of your Rhapsody installation

  2. Open the Rational Rhapsody model

  3. Click on File > Add Profile To Model and select from under the ContiProfile folder. The plugin will be automatically initialized and a confirmatory text can be seen in Rhapsody's log window.

  4. Click on Tools > UpdateConnectorDirection to invoke the Plugin as indicated in the log window.
