How do you set the Auto-define option by default from the configuration file in IBM Rational System Architect?
The default way to set the Auto-define option is from the Menu tool bar:
There is another way to set Auto-define by default directly from the configuration file.
The Auto-define option can be set by default from the
SA2001.ini file as follows:
- Locate the
By default under the user profile (
<user profile>\AppData\Local\Telelogic\System Architect\)
- Edit the SA2001.ini file using a text editor.
- Find the section
[SystemArchitect]and the next line is where the default settings are defined. These are values of the different Preferences options.
- Change the Auto-Define setting to
Y. This is the 8th value.
- Save the file and close the editor.
- Restart Rational System Architect.
