Unable to save via cube Manager 6.5 using web service

Problem(Abstract)

The user receives an error message from end user's machine, 'Saving Failed. Would you like to continue?'

Click Yes and the below error message will show.

Symptom

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException
Message:There was an exception running the extensions specified in the config file. ---> Maximum request length exceeded.

Cause

The system appears to be a timing out when the user is attempting to hit save

Resolving the problem

<httpRuntime maxRequestLength="50000" />

The default size is 4MB. The value is in kilobytes.

After making the changes, please remember to reset IIS and retest:

- Launch MDM
- Set the MDM server URL,
- Choose web service option from Schema connection Mode,
- Click on test web service. If successful choose Integrated Security from the main connection screen
